Steve Stein informs us that the Transcontinental Baseball League draft is now official. KC firstbaseman Eric Hosmer was the very first pick in the draft.

- Eric Hosmer
- Freddie Freeman
- Mike Trout
- Brett Lawrie
- Jesus Montero
