3rd Semi-Annual Capital of the Confederacy APBA Tournament

Jim Saska is at it again.  Jim, who helped get the Chicagoland tournaments going, is now organizing tournaments in Richmond, Virginia.  This will be the third one and he’s hoping for a good turnout.

If you’re interested, set your calendar for October 15th for Jim’s tournament.  Great name for a tourney by the way, Jim!

Chicago just can’t wait four days before thinking about their next tournament.  This time around, Rob Spatz is taking the lead.

The tournament is still in its planning stages but the date and location are set.  It will take place on November 12th at the Comfort Inn O’Hare.

Of course, don’t forget about all of the other upcoming tournaments especially the Toledo Glass City APBA Baseball Tournament II on August 27th and Neil Ess Memorial Twin Cities APBA Baseball Tournament VI on October 1st.

And yes, we are starting to talk about 2017’s The Prairieland 2.0 in central Illinois.  Details will be coming out soon.

Thomas Nelshoppen

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as the BBW Boys of Summer APBA League since 2014. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
