Dave Druk is organizing the Sioux Falls Shakedown APBA baseball tournament and it has quite a lot going for it. A professional PA announcer? A raffle including $1000 worth of APBA products? Proceeds going to a worthy charity?
And wait, no cost?!
If you’re up for a new APBA tournment, you might want to consider it. Here are the details:
- When? August 16, 2025
- Where? Fairfield Inn & Suites Sioux Falls (SD) Airport
- Cost? Free! Raffle tickets are $5 if you want to buy one.

We will have Randy Preston, the Public Address Announcer for the Sioux Falls Canaries lead off the tournament by announcing everyone’s name as they trot to their seat. Also, we will have a large bucket with two oversized dice and he will do the initial roll starting the inaugural tournament. In future tournaments the Previous winner will do the inaugural shake.
