I admit I really love old ballparks. I want to build one someday that will include that stands.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for you comments, and I have mainly stayed in the same season when I replay but I have done a great teams type tournament before. I did a tournament on 1986 that included 27 Yanks, 80 Phils, 53 Dodgers, 76 Reds, 79 Pirates, 84 Tigers, 83 Orioles and 82 Cardinals. Now at that time I did not have any dead ball era teams but the two teams that made it to finals were 27 Yankees and the 83 Orioles. The 27 Yankees defeated the 83 Orioles 4 games to 2. Maybe I need to have a tournament and include some of those dead ball teams. I have 1905, 1913 and 1916 I believe.

Thanks Tom,

Mike,
I've never did a whole lot with tournaments. Good overview. Do you do mostly tournaments of teams in the same era or do you occasionally see a deadball team face a sluggers squad?

I'm really liking your columns, by the way.
