I should have asked this in the orig post but do you (and anyone else) place a restriction as to matching up number-wise. In other words, does it have to be one for one, two for two, etc?

The IAL does partially because we have a relatively small roster (26 players) that has to make it through a whole season.

If we had a 30 or 36 team roster or a reserve system (and believe me, some managers are pushing for it) uneven trades would be more possible.

In TBL, we allow trades during the 6th month of an 8-month season. (And we determine the draft order by the standings at the end of the 5th month.) During the trading period, a team may not acquire more than 5 new players or draft picks. Traded players join their new teams at the beginning of month 7.

Usually we have no more than 10 or so transactions during the trading month, and with players joining their new clubs on the month boundary keeps statistics confusion to a minimum.
