Photos of Sgt Dan’s Dice Tower!

In yesterday’s quite popular fan profile of Dan Velderrain, Scott Fennessy was asking in the comments about Dan’s dice tower.  He wanted to know what it looked like and how it was used.

Well Sgt. Dan has come through with photos of his tower!

Dan says:

“First pic is my logo I had drawn up for me…. The jersey number, 91 represents the year I was given the franchise and if you look real closely at the Sharks hand you will see a World Series ring with 97 on it!!! LOL”

“I have been using this Dice Tower for ALL games, home and away…. In 2013 this Tower will only be used for Away Games.”

“This is the Tower, built into a stadium that I just had built by George Adams… I will be using this for all of my Home games starting in 2013…. It measures 15″ x 15″ and it is even cooler in person!!! Go Sharks!!! :D “

Very impressive, Dan.  That would definitely strike the fear into the hearts of your opponents.  Where’s the shark aquarium?  :)

I’ll have to send this to my friend Brando who is handy in the woodworking shop.  He’s the one who made this dice cup.  Maybe he can make a dice tower, too.

  1. That’s awesome Dan! Wow, very impressive stadium as well.

  2. Dan’s stadium is awesome! I also recently purchased a ballpark from George Adams. Mine isn’t as elaborate as Dan’s but it’s a blast to use as an accessory to rolling the dice. The craftsmanship is fantastic!

  3. Well that is certainly impressive to say the least. I am still using the clear plastic shaker they provide with the game so don’t I feel humbled.

  4. how do you get in contact with george adams,i would like to have a stadium built.seen some on som website they look cold.thanks doug

  5. As I posted on the APBA FaceBook page, George was great to work with…. He will send you several pics of parks he has done for others but still encourage you to be creative and active in the design process. So between talking on the telephone and exchanging several e-mails, this is what we came up with. Up until now, I have only seen these in photos, so wasn’t real sure how flimsy or durable they really were. I have some high expectations at times and this thing exceeded everyone of them…. I can’t say enough about George or his work… Great Guy and I would do it all over again. The park is sturdy and made out of great materials and the craftsmanship is top notch all the way. I highly recommend him to any one who wants to kick up the level of their gaming experience to the Major Leagues!!! LOL They really are sharp!! You can e-mail George at Be sure to tell him Dan sent ya!!! LOL
